Forget Kim and Kris: Jacksonville Biz Promotes Happy Marriage
News

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A Jacksonville couple has started a business that promotes happy marriage - and they've heard just about enough on Kim and Kris.

"I'm not happy about it," said Anthony Jay, owner of HubbyGear.com. "It makes marriage look like a joke."

He's talking about the 72-day marriage of reality star Kim Kardashian and NBA player Kris Humphries.

Anthony Jay and his wife, Denitra, are inseparable, even after 20 years of marriage. "Twenty years and 11 months," Anthony Jay corrected.

Even on his day off, he spends time with his wife at her math tutoring business on Cesery Boulevard. "He'll stay up here for hours, just so I can see him and I love it," she said.

So their business which promotes happy marriages, and faithful husbands, isn't just for show. They truly love being married.

"I hit the husband lottery," Denitra Jay said. "He's my best friend."

Anthony Jay started developing products and a website about three years ago. He sells T-shirts, polos, underwear and stickers on his site, all with a logo or motto that encourages happy marriage.

"And it's great for a man to wear these shirts because it lets your wife know she's on your mind," he said.

His two main mottos are "Respect the ring" and "M4L" which stands for "Married For Life."
