Ship that hit Mathews Bridge moves

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The ship that hit the Mathews Bridge is no longer docked in downtown Jacksonville.

So what's next for the USNS 1st Lt. Harry L. Martin?

A slow process here on the St Johns River as the USNS Martin made it's way back under the Mathews bridge for the first time since last September.

The ship was moved by several tugboats around nine this morning.

It took about an hour to get the ship under the bridge.
The coast guard was right next to the ship as it made it's way under.

While it was moving - you could get a good look at just how much damage was caused in that collision.

The good news - it cleared the bridge with no issues.
Now the martin has been here between the mathews and the hart while the coast guard and the navy looked into the crash.
Tonight - that ship is at Blount Island where most of the repairs will be made.
