Saturday sizzle sparks isolated inland t-storms
Weather

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -I'm meteorologist Mike Prangley. The weekend is off to a terrific start. Things will be heating up so it will be a good day at the pool or beach. Highs will be from the lower 80s at the beach to near 90 inland. This temperature contrast will kick up a sea-breeze that could spark an isolated storm this afternoon mainly west of the river and along highway 301 late this afternoon.

I will track those isolated thunderstorms and have your two minute advantage at 6:30 p.m. There may be one more batch of isolated storms to track this evening with what is left of a complex of storms that rumbled across Georgia overnight for areas farther east toward Amelia Island and Saint Simons. But again any rain would not last long. Have a wonderful day and do not forget the sunscreen with a UV index of 10 in the very high range.
