JFRD puts out fires at gas station and storage shed
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department responded to and extinguished two fires on Monday night.
Two gas pumps at a Texaco station at 7410 Blanding Boulevard on the Westside caught fire. Vehicles were close to the pumps at the time of the fire, but no one was hurt, according to JFRD.
The State Fire Marshal will be investigating the blaze because property damage occurred.
Firefighters also responded to another fire in Arlington. A storage shed fire was extinguished at a home on Heath Road. No one was hurt in the blaze.
