JACKSONVILLE, Fla. --A student with a bottle full of acid is likely the cause of a lockdown at Terry Parker High School, according to Tom Francis with the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department.
Parents were alerted to the incident just before 9 a.m. Thursday.
Francis said the student apparently dropped or threw the bottle on the ground in the hallway on the second floor of the school.

The school immediately cleared the area and cordoned off that area of the school to allow first responders to clean up the acid and air the area out, Francis detailed.
The school has designated a parent pick up location at the bus loop off of Townsend Blvd, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
