Victim in deadly nightclub shooting at Mascara's identified | News

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Jacksonville police are looking for a suspect after a deadly shooting at a nightclub.

Police were called to Mascara's, located at the corner of Beach and Southside, around 3:30 a.m. Saturday.

Sgt. Dan Janson with JSO Homicide said there was an altercation inside the club. During the fight, someone pulled out a handgun and started shooting. Glenn Eugene Adams, 29, was shot and killed. He was identified by JSO on Monday.

Officers said many people were at the club at the time of the shooting because they were attending an after party. Police were interviewing witnesses and club patrons.
