JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A driver crashed her car into Geraldine Ransome Fields Christian Academy. The academy is on property owned by Holy Cross Lutheran Church.
The car went through a window, settling into the cafeteria, which is part of the academy.
The driver, a 60-year-old woman, was in critical condition at last report, according to Jacksonville Sheriff's Office Detective J.D. Gregory.
Gregory said she failed to negotiate the curve. The cafeteria wasn't in use today. About 150 students attend Geraldine Ransome Fields Christian Academy, which teaches grades six through 12.
