Deadly shooting near McDonald's | News

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is investigating a deadly shooting near a McDonald's on University Boulevard.

According to Sergeant Jay Farhat, officers were called to a parking lot across the street from the McDonald's around 10 Monday night.

Once on the scene - witnesses told officers two people got into an argument.  Then shots were fired.

The victim, a female, was driven to Shands where she died.

Police are hoping witnesses can help identify the shooter.
