JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Florida Gators and Ohio State Buckeyes have arrived in Jacksonville for Monday's TaxSlayer.com Gator Bowl.
UF was the first team to hit the practice field. They did so for about an hour on Tuesday afternoon at Jacksonville University.
Ohio State will hold it's first practice in Jacksonville on Wednesday morning at UNF.

This is only the second time that Florida and Ohio State have played in football. The first matchup was the 2006 BCS National Championship Game in which the Gators won 41-14.
Florida's last appearance in the Gator Bowl was in 1992. Ohio State's last appearance in this game was in 1978.
Both teams have a (6-6) record heading into the game therefore one of these teams is assured of having a losing season. The last time that happened for Ohio State was in 1988. For Florida, it was 1979.
