Man shot and killed overnight in Arlington

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A man was shot and killed early Saturday morning in Arlington.

Police responded to reports of a person shot in the 1000 block of Underhill Drive around 1 a.m.

According to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, the unnamed victim was taken to UF Health Jacksonville where he died as a result of his gunshot wounds.

The victim is described as a male, about 18 to 25-years-old, according to JSO.

There are no suspects in custody and detectives are interviewing witnesses at this time.
