JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Local children fighting heart disease will enjoy the Christmas spirit thanks to Cantina Laredo and the American Heart Association (AHA) Young Professional Board’s Heart Hero Happy Hour held on November 20 from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m.
Guests will enjoy music by Stephen Carey on Cantina Laredo’s patio while supporting the children and families living with the devastating effects of congenital heart disease. Guests are asked to bring a child’s toy and will be given on complementary Casa Rita in return.
Statewide, the American Heart Heroes is a free program for children and their families who live with the devastating effects of congenital heart defects. This program provides a place where families come together, with resources provided by the American Heart Association to navigate the challenges and celebrate the successes of living with congenital heart defects.
