J.U. HEAD FOOTBALL COACH KERWIN BELL ON MILLER ON SPORTS

On January 25, 2012, J.U. Head Coach Kerwin Bell joined Host Richard Miller of Miller on Sports to discuss his interview with the Florida Gators for the offensive coordinator position.  While back in Jacksonville at the campus, Bell called in to Miller on Sports for a brief interview.

Bell discussed how he recently coached alongside Coach Bobby Bowden at the 2012 Florida All-Stars Game in Orlando.   He also shared that his name has been discussed for coaching positions with the Florida Gators, Auburn, and FIU.  However, Bell noted that the Florida Gators, which is his Alma Mater, is where he would be interested in coaching if he were to leave J.U.  His contract with J.U. runs through 2015. Bell stated that, during a phone interview with Muschamp, Bell told Muschamp:  "My job is just as important as yours" while referring to leadership with these young athletes and building a college football program.    Bell is very excited about J.U. getting a band because he thinks that having their own band will be good for "the atmosphere and taking the program to the next level for a game day experience." LISTEN AND READ ABOUT KERWIN BELL IN AN EARLIER INTERVIEW WITH MILLER.
