Teen and Young Adult Heath Summit | Arts & Culture
What is the Truth About “Becky and Teddy”
This continuing story of Becky and Teddy started
last year, but as with any story or adventure with
young adults there could be multiple endings.
Not every ending is a storybook one, but it
is guaranteed to teach a valuable lesson on
relationships, sex, drugs, self-esteem, personal rights
and accountability for a young person’s actions.
Last year we talked about who Becky and Teddy
really are, this year we're checking in with them
again. This special event for teens and young adults
will highlight learning about yourself and loving
self first before you can love anyone. Sex and love
are not the same thing. The emotional and mental
consequences will last a lifetime.
Quote "There isn't a child who hasn't gone out into
the brave new world who eventually doesn't return
to the old homestead carrying a bundle of dirty clothes."
This conference will help youth and teens as they
grow into adults manage their "dirty clothes," clean
clothes and as they change clothes and roles during
This is a FREE event open to students and young
adults 12 to 24 and parents.
