I-10/I-95 interchange reconstruction project

Lanes and ramps will be closed nightly at various locations within the project limits from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. from Monday, October 25 through Friday, October 29.  Detour signs will be posted. The anticipated completion time for all work on this project is late 2010.

I-10 resurfacing and widening project between Lane Avenue and Halsema Road

 I-10 eastbound between the S.R. 23 interchange and the Chaffee Road exit WILL BE TOTALLY CLOSED nightly between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. from Sunday, October 24 through Thursday, October 28 for demolishing the old Chaffee Road overpass. Traffic will be detoured to S.R. 23 to Normandy Boulevard to Chaffee.

 

 I-10 westbound between Chaffee Road and the I-295 interchange, the I-295 southbound ramp to I-10 westbound and the Marietta on ramp to I-10 westbound WILL ALL BE TOTALLY CLOSED nightly between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. from Sunday, October 24 through Thursday, October 28.  Traffic will be detoured to I-295 to Normandy Boulevard to Chaffee Road, and traffic using the Marietta on ramp will be detoured to Beaver Street to Chaffee Road.  The I-295 southbound ramp to I-10 westbound and the Marietta on ramp to I-10 WILL BOTH BE TOTALLY CLOSED nightly between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. from Sunday, October 24 through Thursday, October 28. Traffic will be detoured to Beaver Street to Chaffee Road.

 

Single lanes on I-10 may be closed from Sunday, October 24 through Thursday, October 28 at various locations within the project limits between 6:30 p.m. and 5 a.m. eastbound and from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. westbound.  This project is scheduled to be completed in the spring of 2012.

 

I-10 pavement improvement project between Stockton Street and Lane Avenue

Lanes and various ramps within the project limits will be closed nightly between 6:30 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. from Monday, October 25 through Thursday, October 28.  This project is scheduled for completion in the spring of 2012.

 

I-95 landscaping and drainage project between Lem Turner Road and Heckscher Drive

The I-95 northbound on ramp to Edgewood Avenue WILL BE TOTALLY CLOSED daily between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. through Wednesday, October 27. Detour signs will be posted. This project will be finished next spring.  

 

I-95 at Broward Road

The southbound emergency lane will be closed on Tuesday, October 26 from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for routine bridge maintenance.

 

I-95 at J. Turner Butler Boulevard

Various southbound lanes will be closed on Thursday, October 28 between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. for roadway maintenance.

 

I-295 at Wilson Boulevard

Various lanes will be closed in both directions nightly between 8:30 p.m. and 5 a.m. from Monday, October 25 through Thursday, October 28 for routine bridge maintenance.   

 

Hart Bridge repainting and structural repair project

Full bridge closings will occur Monday through Thursday nights from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. and on weekends from 6 a.m. on Saturday until 6 a.m. on Monday. (Lane and bridge closings are not allowed on football game days. No lane or bridge closings will occur over the Georgia/Florida football game weekend on Friday, Saturday or Sunday.)  Northbound lane closings can occur between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m., and southbound lane closings can occur between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. This work should be finished in early 2011.

 

Beach Boulevard widening project between Hodges Boulevard and San Pablo Road

No lane closings are scheduled for next week. This project should be finished in the summer of 2011.

 

J. Turner Butler Boulevard between Philips Highway and S.R. A1A

Single lanes will be closed in both directions at various locations between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. from Sunday, November 7 through Friday, November 12 and from Monday, November 14 through Friday, November 19 for roadway maintenance.

 

New Kings Road near Dunn Avenue

One southbound lane will be closed on Thursday, October 28 and Friday, October 29 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for roadway maintenance. 

 

Edgewood Avenue at the railroad crossing north of Old Kings Road

One northbound lane will be closed on Monday, October 25 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for routine bridge maintenance.

 

Beaver Street at the railroad crossing adjacent to the farmers market near Stockton Street

One eastbound lane will be closed on Tuesday, October 26 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for a routine bridge inspection.

 

Sisters Creek bridge maintenance project on Heckscher Drive

Single lanes will be closed daily from Monday, October 25 through Friday, October 29 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Two-way traffic will be controlled with flaggers. The work should be finished this fall.

 

103rd Street between Shindler Drive and Old Middleburg Road

Single westbound lanes will be closed daily (Monday through Friday) between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. through Friday, October 29 for roadway maintenance.

 

Ortega River Bridge on S.R 211 rehabilitation project

Lanes will be closed daily between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. from Monday, October 25 through Friday, October 29. This project will be finished in the fall of 2011.

 

 

 

S.R. 23 (Cecil Commerce Center Parkway) from I-10 to Middleburg (Clay County)

Single lanes will be closed in both directions nightly at various locations from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. from Sunday, November 7 through Friday, November 12 and from Sunday, November 14 through Friday, November 19 for roadway maintenance.

 

C.R. 209 bridge replacement project over Black Creek (Clay County)

Lane closings cannot occur between 3:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Lanes will be closed at various times of the day, and two-way traffic will be maintained using flaggers. This project should be finished in the fall of 2011.

 

S.R. 21 widening project between Old Jennings Road and Knight Boxx Road (Clay County)

No lane closings are scheduled for next week. This project is scheduled to be finished in the spring of 2011.

 

 S.R. 23 overpass construction at Plantation Oaks Boulevard (Clay County)

Single lanes on S.R. 23 at Plantation Oaks Boulevard will be closed nightly between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. from Tuesday, October 26 through Friday, October 29.  Two-way traffic will be maintained using flaggers. The project should finish in November.  

 

S.R. 16 resurfacing between the Shands Bridge and U.S. 17 (Clay County)

One lane will be closed nightly in both directions between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m., Monday through Thursday. This project will be finished in late 2010.

 

C.R. 215 resurfacing from Blanding Boulevard to Chicory/Juniper Avenue (Clay County)

One lane may be closed daily (Monday through Friday). This project will be finished in the spring 2011.

 

S.R. 21 about one-half mile south of C.R. 215 (Clay County)

Various lanes will be closed daily between 9:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. from Monday, October 25 through Thursday, October 28 for routine bridge maintenance. Two-way traffic will be maintained using flaggers.

 

S.R. 200 widening between Griffin Road and Stratton Road (Nassau County)

Single lanes may be closed daily in both directions between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. at various locations within the project limits from Monday, October 25 through Thursday, October 28. This project should be finished next summer.

 

U.S. 301 resurfacing from the Duval County line to Pickett Road in Callahan (Nassau County)

Single northbound lanes will be closed at various locations between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. from Monday, October 25 through Friday, October 29. This project will be finished next spring.  

 

S.R. A1A traffic signal improvement project from C.R. 107 to Centre Street (Nassau County)

Intermittent lane closings may occur at various locations within the project limits from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Monday through Friday). This project will be finished in early 2011.

 

S.R. A1A resurfacing from the Nassau Sound Bridge to Atlantic Avenue (Nassau County)

Single lanes will be closed daily (Monday through Friday) next week between 8:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. for paving operations. Two-way traffic will be maintained using flaggers. The project should be finished in the fall of 2011.

 

U.S. 301 at Ford Road (Nassau County)

One northbound lane will closed on Monday, October 25 and Tuesday, October 26 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for constructing a turn lane.
